Why study International Management? 

From Bocholt to the world! Globalisation affects companies of all sizes and in all industries. The International Management programme at the Bocholt campus is the perfect way to get ready for management roles in an international setting. You will develop business management knowledge as well as intercultural and language skills to operate successfully worldwide. Your semester abroad at one of our partner universities is an important part of this. The demand for young management talent with an international focus is growing steadily.

Structure and content of the programme

• Fundamentals (1st–3rd semester): e.g. business administration and economics, accounting, international business law
• International Management (from 4th semester): in-depth study in English with a focus on e.g. international management, international marketing, international business relations, projects with international issues
• You will spend the 5th semester at one of our numerous partner universities abroad. For example, in Spain, Finland, Mexico or the USA. In the 6th semester, you will complete a 14-week practical phase and conclude your studies with a 10-week bachelor's thesis.

Key qualifications

• International teamwork and intercultural communication
• Foreign language skills in business English and optionally a second foreign language

Career prospects

After graduation, you will be prepared for international management positions, for example in:

• Sales and marketing: Working worldwide as a key account manager or marketing manager
• Purchasing and logistics: Strategic tasks in international supply chains and markets
• Corporate management: Start with a trainee programme or direct entry into management roles
