You were forced to flee from your home country? You already have a university entrance diploma or even started or finished studying in your home country?

We offer two different programs for Refugees:

Current Information for Refugees:

For a short-term continuation of your studies without knowledge of the German language you can be enrolled as an exchange student for the remainder of the summer semester 2022.

The following study courses can be selected:

• Wirtschaft (Economics): https://www.w-hs.de/wirtschaft-ge/
• International Management: https://www.w-hs.de/win/internationales/incoming-students/bachelor-international-management/
• Informatik (Computer Science): https://www.w-hs.de/informatik-ge/

Only specific classes held in English can be selected and the enrolment is limited to one semester.

The following criteria needs to be fulfilled:

• English language knowledge of the B2-level
• Previous University experience in the desired study field
• A University entrance qualification for German higher education (HZB)

Current Information for Refugees from Ukraine

The website of the National Academic Contact Point Ukraine offers a first orientation for students and researchers in Germany, especially about the German higher education and research system. Here you will also find an overview of different help offers in academia.

The website is available in Ukrainian, English and German. 

The Westphalian University of Applied Sciences is working intensively on further support options for refugees, which will be published here in due course. As the contact person for refugees, Ms. Röder is available for individual consultation.
