How much German does my child need to know.

Today, children need particular language skills for learning foreign languages at an early age. Even students are traveling more extensively. Because it is not uncommon to live and learn abroad, your child needs special language skills and training for his / her intercultural training and experience. The children ideally start learning German in their home country - for example, in a Goethe Institute or in one of the Carl Duisberg Trainings Centres that provide the needed skills for success.

For German study courses at Westphalian University of Applied Sciences Level B1 is required (CEFR - Common European Framework of Reference for Language). There are various standardazised tests - for instance, the TestDaF.
