Bachelor's of Taxation and Auditing
Why study taxation and auditing?
Careers in taxation and auditing are systemically important and offer a wide range of career opportunities, particularly due to their central role for small and medium-sized enterprises and financial stability in Germany. The growing shortage of skilled workers, particularly due to age structures and new tasks such as sustainability reporting, is creating high demand for qualified young talent. The programme offers the opportunity to pursue a socially significant career while taking advantage of excellent career prospects in a future-proof industry.

The programme offers practical insights, enables students to gain initial professional experience and supports individual specialisation through elective modules and projects.
The quality of our university education is also reflected in the fact that we are a DATEV education partner. In addition, our programme can justify access to the tax clerk examination as a so-called external examination.
The dual version of the Taxation and Auditing programme combines theoretical and practical elements through practical and project modules in order to optimally prepare students for everyday working life. These modules are carried out in close cooperation with partner companies, with the companies and the university entering into a cooperation agreement.
