In the first three semesters, you will first learn the basics of programming, business informatics, business administration, accounting as well as business mathematics and statistics. In addition, there are courses such as software engineering, algorithms and data structures as well as databases and information systems. Web programming and IT-supported business process management round off the first part of the program. In a large part of the courses you work in small groups and project-oriented.
From the fourth semester onwards, the proportion of practice-oriented teaching content increases further. In addition to mandatory specialization subjects, you can choose from a wide range of electives in the fields of computer science and business informatics. In the projects of the fourth and fifth semesters, you will plan, develop and implement an application solution with practical relevance. In the sixth semester, a 14-week practical phase takes place outside the university. There you will have the opportunity to put into practice what you have learned before. The program concludes with the 10-week Bachelor's thesis, which is usually carried out in cooperation with a company.
